Omkara

Saw the much awaited Othello adaptation Omkara today. I have never read Shakespeare in my life other than some poetry in balbarathi, so dunno whether the director was able to do justice to the story, as far as the movie goes it was well made. Liked the performances of Saif and Konkona. Had read an interview with Bipasha, she said that her role would be as usual ‘hatke’ in this movie, all she did was dance two item numbers. Before the movie started a small clipping was played, it was a public interest campaign done by Ajay Devgan aired before the movie, it was urging people not to litter the city, linking plastic littering to last year’s floods, but I dunno whether it would be effective after all we all have zero civic sense. Im trying to blog directly from Firefox using a new extension called Performancing. Till now its working well pretty neat. I think I said it too early tried it thrice but couldnt get thru..

Cheap

Saw the advertisement for the new movie Gol Maal in HT. These people are nothing but a bunch of cheapos they want to capitalize on the blasts to sell the movie.

The ad read "HAVE A BLAST…CELEBRATE THE SPIRIT OF MUMBAI"

It was expected of the politicians to do this but not from the film industry.

My temperament

You Have a Phlegmatic Temperament

Mild mannered and laid back, you take life at a slow pace. You are very consistent - both in emotions and actions. You tend to absorb set backs easily. You are cool and collected. It is difficult to offend you. You can remain composed and unemotional. You are a great friend and lover. You don’t demand much of others. While you are quiet, you have a subtle wit that your friends know well. At your worst, you are lazy and unwilling to work at anything. You often get stuck in a rut, without aspirations or dreams. You can get too dependent on others, setting yourself up for abandonment.

What Temperment Are You?

Ganda hai par dhanda hai…

Watched the much awaited Madhur Bhandarkar movie Corporate. It explores and shows some of the open secrets of the big bad corporate world, kind of Page 3 deja vu. Good movie worth a watch, better than watching cheapos like Phir Hera Pheri and the likes.

Growing old

Was in Mumbai for the past 5 days on an official tour (attaching official makes it imp lol). Had to be at Andheri everyday, so I thought would take up the train, but alas, its been a long time since I have boarded crowded trains I started getting jitters, gone are the college days when getting into trains was never a problem. Roughly 2 years in a different city and you forget old things and learn new (drive a two wheeler on Pune roads), well had to do with BEST and rick for the day. Somehow two days ago I managed to travel by the western line , coz it was midnight. The trains sure have changed a lot the western ones especially the one in which I traveled there was an indicator displaying the stations and the stations are announced too.

The best footballer alive is Japanese his names Captain Tsubasa or Bas. Have been watching this lately and its fun.
